The main needed change in our voting system:

In some ways, there's not enough freedom of voting, in some ways there's too much.

The main part of settling these problems is adding a "voting quiz" to the system. Every citizen who votes should first, take a quiz of what the candidates say about themselves, what their claimed plans and political parties are and accusations from each other's campaign about the other, along with a quiz that allows them to see if they know enough about politics to vote. This method would probably help prevent careless voting, voting over race and other missuses of the power to vote.

If we don't use this kind off method, there will probably be more and more ignorance behind the vote.

But some might say we cannot use this method because it disrespects the rights of many people to vote. This makes no sense, because any irresponsible voting is potentially fraud voting because it can give someone an unfair chance of winning, especially if they are the person that tends to have people on his side when they don't know much about him.
